Mixed Media Art Adventure

Get creative with paint, collage, drawing, and more! In this hands-on class, students will explore different art materials and techniques to create unique, one-of-a-kind projects. Perfect for young artists of all skill levels. Supplies included. (Ages 8-14)

Lights, Camera…Improv! Drama Games & Creative Acting

Kids Cooking 101

Protein Ball Kitchen Creations

Get ready to mix, roll, and snack! In this hands-on class, students will learn how to make delicious no-bake protein balls using simple, healthy ingredients. Young chefs will explore basic kitchen skills, measure ingredients, and create their own tasty energy bites in a variety of flavors. Students will be using peanut butter. Supplies are included. Pokémon® Masters: Designers & 3D Makers Unite!

Calling all PokeMasters who want to be the designers of the future! Use your Pokémon imagination and bring your ideas to life. Begin by creating your own digital Pokémon-style custom-playing card game. Progress onto designing action figures, jewelry, and toys in professional-level modeling software. Learn how to prepare a model for 3D printing and create a design portfolio to showcase your work! No prior experience is necessary and 3D designs will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. (Ages 8-10) Cost: $159

New developers will learn to use Roblox® Studio software to reimagine the popular game genres with their own custom code! Student-created games will be available on a password-protected Black Rocket website to share with friends and family. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program (Ages 8-10)

This program readies the next generation of AI engineers as they work with customized machine learning models for a variety of scenarios. Students will also gain experience in block-based coding skills while building interactive projects and games. From simulating self-driving racecars to teaching robots how to play video games, push the boundaries of what is possible with the help of A.I. Students will work in pairs or teams for most of the program. (Ages 8-10)
Cost: $175

Youth Food Service Sanitation

Class ID: 2228 | 2 sessions, Wednesday, July 15 & Thursday, July 16, 10:00 AM - :00 PM

Are you ready to level up your food safety skills and earn a nationally recognized certification? This class is designed specifically for teens interested in starting their own culinary business, food service careers, boosting their resumes, and college applications or leadership roles. Students will learn food safety principles, proper food handling and sanitation, prevention of foodborne illness, and leadership in food service environments. Students are encouraged to bring a lunch. The registration deadline is July 8. (Ages 14 - 18)
Cost: $80
