W 4-3, T 7-7

The Skyhawks defeat Marshalltown Community College 4-3 in the first game of a double-header and then after 8 innings in the second game, end in a 7-7 tie.  In game 1, Kiara Kaleel (7-3) had 5 k's and allowed 3 runs (1 earned) to get the win. Kelsey Hagan drove in 2 and then hit a 3-run homer in the 5th inning of game 2 to put the Skyhawks (14-8-1) up 7-5.  After Marshalltown tied it up, Cali Bartholomew pitched the last 2 innings to get the tie.  The Skyhawks will be in action again on Tuesday, April 9 at 3:00 p.m. when they will host IVCC.
