Men's Tennis Team Outlook

Men’s Tennis Team outlook 2013 This year’s Skyhawk men’s tennis team will have three of its top six players returning. They include Caleb Bradley from Dixon (number one singles last year), Patrick Ginn (number two singles), and Travis Waldschmidt (number six singles). We will also see Patrick and Caleb play number one doubles again this year. To round off our sophomores, Ryan Downings and Geoffery LeMay, both from Sterling, will return to the courts this season. With the great skill and work we saw last year, these men will help lead the team through the competitive spring schedule.

The new players joining the team include Trevor Sensor (number one singles at Sterling High School), Troy Miller and Tanner Dir from Sterling, Gavin Jensen from Newman, Granite Tefiku from Dixon and Jovan Henderson from Rockford East. These players have experience at the high school level and possess the skills it takes to compete at the collegiate level, making them a great attribute to the team.

With hard work and dedication this team has the potential to be among the top teams at the regional tournament in April and could qualify for the national tournament.
