Sauk Valley Volleyball was in Chicago Heights this weekend for the Prairie State Tournament, and came away with a 3-1 record for a 3 ^rd place finish.

On Saturday, the Skyhawks won 5 set matches against South Suburban (25-13, 23-25, 16-25, 25-15, 15-13); and Prairie State (25-22, 21-25, 20-25, 25-17, 16-14).

Leaders for the Skyhawks on the weekend were: Kalli Scheppers 72 kills; Jessica Bonnell 36 kills, 10 kill blocks; Stacy Stewart 34 kills; Kayla Kurz 18 kills, 14 kill blocks; Randi Wilken 18 kills, 12 kill blocks; Karly Koch 141 assists; Nicole Shaffer 99digs; and Mariah Long 60 digs.

Sauk improves to 21-11 overall. They travel to Kishwaukee on Tuesday, and Highland on Wednesday.
