Purpose:
CASA helps youth with legal services. They also advocate for abused/neglected children in juvenile court.
The mission of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. We work with state and local CASA and volunteer guardians and programs to promote and support quality volunteer advocacy to help assure each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home.
Remarks:
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM-4:00PM.
Services: A volunteer program where trained community citizens are appointed by the juvenile court system to ensure that every abused or neglected child in Lee or Carroll County receive a safe and permanent home in the shortest time possible.
