Purpose:
The mission of the Home of Hope is to support and provide solace to those touched by cancer.
Remarks:
On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the Home of Hope is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. On Wednesdays, available from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM and on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Counseling for individuals, families, and couples are available by appointment. The Home of Hope is where survivors of cancer may share their experiences and also where those undergoing treatment can receive support. The support group is held every Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. For those that are supporting someone with cancer, there is a group for the friends and family who need extra support and guidance through the cancer experience. Education on cancer is offered to children who have a family member with cancer. Bereavement support is also offered. Home of Hope also has stress management programs. Short orientations and tours are available on the first and third Mondays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM to obtain more information about the programs.
