Purpose:

To provide the facilities and services necessary for the delivery of primary diagnostic and therapeutic health care as well as continued place of access to health care services for the low income and medically underserved populations of Lee County.

Remarks:

Hours of operation are only Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. The Volunteer Care Center offers free general medical services. The center provides are school and work physicals. The center also gives many referrals to participating specialties, eye examinations and glasses in cooperation with area Lions Clubs, mental health services, and the Health Department for pre-natal care. Eligibility is based on income level.
