Purpose:
The Western Illinois Area Agency on Aging provides coordinated and accessible services for older persons to live independent, meaningful, and dignified lives. The WIAAA provides resources and information to promote quality living.
Remarks:
WIAAA also serves the counties of Henderson, Henry, Knox, McDonough, Mercer, Rock Island, and Warren. Office hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday. The WIAAA provides information and referrals on legal issues, pharmaceuticals assistance, elder abuse, and more. Other services offered through the WIAAA are meals and transportation. Information is available for special needs, seniors, caregivers, and grandparents raising grandchildren.
