Purpose:

Business Hours are Monday Through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 12:00p.m. and 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. LSSI-Senior Services offers Comprehensive Care Coordination. Assessments are completed and if criteria is me, case manager may authorized any or all of the following types of services. Home care services Emergency Home Response Serviices Flexible Senior Services and Assisted Technology Demonstration Project Money Follows the Person Demonstration Project Assisted Technology Demonstration Project LSSI also offers Senior Protective Services to anyone 60 years of age or older wo are victims of abuse, neglect and exploitation. Elder abuse is a term referring to any negligant act by a caregiver or any other person who cause harm or serious risk of harm to a vulnerable adult. Types of reportable abuse include physical, emotional, sexual, passive neglect, deprivation, confinement and financial exploitation. Reports of elder abuse can me made to LSSI at 815-626-7333 during business hours or to the Illinois Elder Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-866-800-1409 24 hours a day.
