Sauk Valley Community College will be closed for Winter Break at 4:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday, December 22, through Sunday, January 3, 2010. College offices will reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010.

Spring semester classes begin Monday, January 11, 2010.

Sauk’s Offices of Admissions, Student Financial Assistance, and Counseling will be open to accommodate students registering for classes from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 21, and Tuesday, December 22. During the week of January 4 – 8, these offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, and from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. Those wishing to talk with a Sauk counselor or academic advisor may schedule an appointment by calling 815-288-5511, ext. 208.

During winter break, the College’s Fitness Center and Weight Room will be open during the following hours:

• 6 a.m. to noon December 23, 28, and 30;
• 8 a.m. to noon, December 26, 29, and January 2; and
• Closed Sundays and on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1.

Regular Fitness Center and Weight Room hours resume Monday, January 4, 2010.

The College’s Library will be closed from December 22 through January 3, and reopen at 8 a.m. on Monday, January 4.
