Sauk Valley Community College will offer “Setting up a Wireless Network,” a one-evening workshop that will be offered from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, April 26, in Room 3K2.

Do you want to expand your network to allow wireless devices in your home to attach to your network such as printers, Xbox, Wii, other devices and also make it secure so others can’t access your network? This course will provide an overview on how to setup and secure a wireless network, review different hardware, wireless infrastructure, configuring LAN security, and troubleshooting.

Cost for this class is $40. Students may register in Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
