Sauk Valley Community College will offer the course “Fall Door Design,” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, at Swartley’s Floral & Greenhouse, 1706 E Fifth, Sterling.

Participants will learn to create a fun harvest-themed door piece with lasting silk flowers. Students will need to bring scissors and wire cutters to class.

Cost for the class is $45. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions and Records, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays.
