Evening Financial Aid Seminar to be Offered at Amboy High School

February is Financial Aid Awareness Month. Sauk Valley Community College's Office of Financial Assistance will offer a Financial Aid Seminar for parents and students at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 2, at Amboy High School. There is no charge to attend.

Debra Stiefel, SVCC’s coordinator of student financial assistance, will explain the financial aid process, the different financial aid opportunities available, and the 2011-12 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Completing the FAFSA takes only a few minutes, and students may be eligible for free federal and state aid annually.
