For anyone who has recently retired or who is preparing to retire, Sauk Valley Community College will offer a four-session Financial Planning for Retirement Workshop, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays February 1 through February 22, in Room 2L1A.

This program will take the mystery out of retirement planning and help participants answer common questions such as: How should I be invested in my 401(k)? How can I determine if I have enough to retire? How can I manage my retirement to make my money last? And, how can I ensure my lasting legacy and that my loved ones are taken care of with estate planning?

Cost for this workshop is $30. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.
