Gain the confidence to upgrade your own computer as Sauk Valley Community College will offer the evening workshop “What’s Under the Cover?” from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, in Room 2F3.

Have you ever been told that you need to add more memory to your computer or that your hard drive is full? Do you know what those components are and how to access them? In this class, participants will discover how to save money and learn if upgrading a computer is more cost effective than purchasing a new one.

Cost for this class is $40. To register, stop by Sauk’s Office of Admissions, Room 1J1, between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays or between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays. For more information on this class, call 815/288-5511, ext. 212.
