(H71) Manufacturing: Certifed Manufacturing Assistant
Program Description
The purpose of the Certified Manufacturing Assistant program is to meet industry requirements for employees with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes to successfully perform as entry-level workers in any manufacturing organization.
The SVCC Certified Manufacturing Assistant program is designed to train entry-level manufacturing employees.These would include machinery maintenance workers, repair workers, general assembly workers, and other entry-level workers. This certificate is an excellent introduction into any of Sauk's manufacturing certificates or AAS degrees.
To obtain employment in a manufacturing plant, most individuals will be required to possess a high school diploma or GED. A drug test has become customary in most manufacturing companies before hiring.
