Training Time

For the purpose of VA education benefits, training time is calculated on a day-by-day basis.  Students taking 12+ credit hours are considered full-time, 9-11 credits are three-quarter time, and 6-8 credits are half-time. Students registered less than half time are paid tuition and fees only, not to exceed the VA set limit.

Students who are taking courses that are shorter than the normal term should contact the Veterans Certifying Official to ensure understanding of training time.
