Mission Statement - The Sauk Valley Community College Student Veterans Organization serves as a group for all who have served as a member of the armed forces including active duty, guard and reserve, and family members of those who have served. Our goal on campus is to provide a veteran friendly environment to help re-assimilate, readjust, and provide peer support and familiarization to the Sauk campus and college environment.  Our goal in the community is to provide support for our fellow veterans’ organizations, such as the VFW, American Legion, Dixon Veteran’s Park as well as other veteran programs.
