Fall 2024 Team Outlook

Expectations are high again for the Sauk Valley Community College volleyball program, as they return key players from last season’s national tournament team and they welcome a talented freshman class.

Returning players include All-American outside hitter Lacey Eissens (West Carroll H.S.) All-Conference defensive specialist Ava Wight (Oregon H.S), and setter Tori Balma (Putnam County H.S.). 

The 2024 recruiting class includes Denali Stonitsch and Carli Kobbeman, both from Rock Falls H.S., Maggie Richetta from Putnam County H.S., Kenna Wubbena from Oregon H.S., Jess Johns from Sterling Newman H.S., ReAnna Brant from Mendota H.S., Claire Reymer from Erie H.S., Reese Burgwald from Ottawa H.S., and Linnea Rocha from Seisen International School.

The Skyhawks will be tested with another tough schedule. They will face 13 teams who were ranked in the newly released NJCAA DII Preseason Poll.
