Purpose / Notes:
To address the special difficulties faced by victims of crime by providing support and information. Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM Monday - Friday./ Services Provided: Legal Services/ Services: Informing the victim of the case status, Notification of upcoming hearings and subsequent dispositions, Information and education about court procedures, Accompaniment to court and provision of safe waiting area, Assistance with victim compensation and restitution, Assistance with victim impact statement preparation, Referral to service agencies, Employee intercession, Arranging for prompt return of property, Set up Victim Impact panel that DUI offenders are sentenced to attend. Information: Arrange for interpreters for non-English speaking defendants, victims and witnesses. Eligibility: Victims of crime.
