Student Organization Policies
- Sauk Valley Community College recognizes the important role student organizations can play in developing students’ personal and professional interests. The Board of Trustees encourages the establishment and participation of students in organizations and extra-curricular activities that serve as an extension of the College’s academic programs or that otherwise relate to the overall mission of the College and the welfare of the student. These activities will include, but are not limited to, Student Government, Student Clubs, and Student Organizations.
- Student organizations operating on campus must be recognized by the Student Government Association and the Dean of Student Services. Such recognition provides certain privileges and regulations that are outlined within the Student Organizations Manual.
