AJ Sharp enters his seventh season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Coach Sharp graduated from Newman Central Catholic High School in 2014 and continued his basketball career at SVCC. Sharp was the starting point guard and the 2016 Regional Championship team captain. Coach Sharp was an Assistant for Hall of Fame Coach Russ Damhoff in the following 2016-2017 Season. Following that year, Coach Sharp got the nod in 2017 summer and began his first season as Head Coach. He has compiled a combined 111-75 record. Throughout his time as head coach, the Skyhawks have never had a losing season. We look forward to watching the successes of this year's team. |

Russ Damhoff enters his seventh year as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach after serving as the Skyhawks Head Coach for 31 years. "It's been a great opportunity to continue coaching under one of my former players and our talented Head Coach A.J. Sharp. I feel I can contribute to Coach Sharp and our player's success with my coaching experience and my love of the game of basketball." Damhoff received both his bachelor's and master's degree from Northern Illinois University. He and his wife Jackie, live in Dixon. |
