Next Step:
Complete Master Promissory Note
The Master Promissory Note (MPN) is required for all first time borrowers. This is required for your first loan and will not be required for continuing loans as long as you remain with the same lender. You will complete the MPN at your lenders web site. You will need your four digit PIN number (your FAFSA Pin Number) to sign the MPN. If you do not have a PIN number or have forgotten your PIN number you may to the www.pin.ed.gov web site to either apply for one or request a duplicate pin. The lender web site does have an optional method for signing the MPN if you are unable to use a pin number. The Master Promissory Note is a legal document that is required for all first time borrowers. If you have problems with the submission of your MPN please contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance. Your Stafford Loan Funds will not be sent to SVCC if you do not complete the MPN.
